Gil Mitchell's Funeral - May 28, 2010 - Concord, NH

The host hotel for those attending the funeral was the Holiday Inn in downtown Concord, NH, about a block or so away from the State Capitol.  They took real good care of us....

The United States Air Force, Blue Knights & Patriot Guard comprise the Honor Guard awaiting Gil's arrival at the cemetery.

Preparations are made to move Gil into the Chapel, while bikes pull into the parking lot.

Atlantic Canada Friendship Weekend - June 18th-20th, 2010
 Hosted by PE I at the Rodd Royalty Inn at Charlottetown, PE

The Host Hotel was ready for us and waiting with open arms.

Once there, Mike & Uncle Joe met up with the "Connecticut Crew".   Oh, plus one from NY....
The Crew
First order of business was to get something really good to eat for lunch, and there's no better place than Fisherman's Wharf in North Rustico, PE.
FOOD!
After lunch we took a ride along the northern shoreline of PEI.  This is along the Gulf Shore Parkway.

The next day we all gathered at Red Rock Harley-Davidson and from there prepared for a Saturday ride around the Island.

We stretched out for quite some distance as we wound our way around the Island.

Here we are a Summerside, PE, taking an hour or so off from riding so we can check out the shops and/or grab some lunch.

From there we continued on to St. Peter's Church, which overlooks Northumberland Strait and the 8+ mile long Confederation Bridge, connecting PEI to New Brunswick.

NEC International Rep. Serge Fournier & Mike's Uncle Joe.  It was a great ride, taking about 4.5 hours by the time we got back to the hotel.
